Tree Planting at the Hutt River
The tidy up at the Hutt River plantings went very well.  It was a perfect day, but a bit cool.  Our mission was to tidy up around our previous plantings.  This was soon accomplished, so we planted more trees, and more trees.  We then moved onto placing mulch around the base of the trees.  Once this was completed, we called it a day.
A very nice morning tea was provided, the baking and sammies were very much appreciated. We had about 20 people attend and the old saying 'Many hands make light work' is true. We achieved all that the WGC ranger wanted to get done, and we finished up about lunchtime.
A great day out and the afternoon siesta was well deserved.
