this policy is available for travel by Rotarians and Rotaractors travelling for Rotary or to Rotary events or projects
The travellers age limit is less than 80 years at the time of commencement of travel
the travellers health is subject to the usual pre-existing conditions limitations.
if the traveller has any pre-existing conditions but is fit to travel then the traveller can travel if they have a "Fitness For Travel Certificate" from their GP
Fitness For Travel Certificates must be in the form provided by Rotary Oceania. That form does NOT require disclosure of medical history. Travellers medical history remains private between the traveller and their doctor. If the travel is advanced booked (more than 60 days out) the Fitness For Travel Certificate may need to be updated prior to starting the journey
Travellers that have a Fitness for Travel Certificate to cover advanced bookings deposits are be insured against cancellation risk if their health status during the advance period changes and a second Fitness for Travel Certificate cannot be issued.
Travellers are not insured if they travel to a war zone or destination that has a "do not travel" advisory from the Government of the traveller's country of citizenship.
